Showcase

Here are a few examples of how EOMORES can improve your water monitoring processes / strategy

Optimisation of traditional sampling strategies, or positioning of in situ monitoring stations, based on the dynamics of water quality parameters.

Using imagery to analyse the spatial differences in concentrations of TSM as a result of dredging and reconstruction work.

Satellite remote sensing-based chlorophyll-a concentration (classification as per WHO)  compared ad combined with public monitoring data.

Key Selling Points

MORE EFFICIENT

Combining EO satellite data with traditional sampling water quality methods makes monitoring more efficient and more precise and easier to implement, including for otherwise remote and/or unreachable areas.

LOWER COSTS

EOMORES can help you to optimize expensive manual sampling by pinpointing representative locations within water bodies. This also applies to the positioning of in situ sensors.

MADE FOR YOU

Whether you represent a public body, a research institute, a private company, or else: after consultation with us, EOMORES experts will offer you a service tailored to your specific needs .

EOMORES is a water quality monitoring service for inland and coastal water bodies. We combine optical in situ measurements with cutting edge satellite imagery and sophisticated numerical models in order to tackle each specific user request we get. We serve private companies, research institutes and environmental agencies interested in water quality monitoring.

EOMORES products are developed under the EU-funded project of the same name.

Which water bodies does EOMORES provide services for?

EOMORES monitors inland and coastal waters.

Which water quality parameters are monitored by EOMORES?

Chlorophyll-a (Chl-a), total suspended matter (TSM), coloured dissolved organic matter (CDOM), diffuse attenuation coefficient (Kd ), transparency or turbidity, quantification of phytoplankton and/or cyanobacteria biomass.
